Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Nicholas was a native of Paris and a Borger resident for 53 years. During World War II, he served in the Seventh Division as a staff sergeant. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
Mr. Nicholas retired as materials man for H.B. Zachary Construction Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He married Madolyn Ford in 1940 at Paris.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lynda Schroeder of Borger and Deloras Cooper of Deer Park; a brother, Billy Nicholas of Ville Platte, La.; two granddaughters; and three great-grandsons.
