Lyle graduated from Howell High School then worked on the farm of his brother in law. Following the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Lyle enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Europe until the end of the war. He then returned to the family farm in Cohoctah and worked for Michigan Bell until his retirement in 1983.
Lyle married Georgiana Lott in 1954 and raised a son and a daughter. Lyle will be remembered fondly by his family including Nieces and Nephews and friends from the Cohoctah Township community and Fowlerville United Brethren Church.
Lyle Allbright was preceded in death by his parents, wife Goergiana, four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his children, Brian (Connie) of Freeport, MI and Jane (Jerry) Robson of Howell, as well as grandchildren, Sarah and Briana Allbright and Aaron Robson.
Memorial contributions are welcome for either Great Lakes Caring Hospice or Fowlerville United Brethren Church.
Services were held on January 25 at 11 AM at the Herrmann Funeral Home 1005 E. Grand River, Fowlerville, MI 48836.
