Robert Glenn Ozburn died Saturday, January 17, 1998, at his home in Blue Springs at the age of 71. He grew up in Kansas City and attended Rockhurst College. Like his brothers, he served in the United States Army during World War II. Robert married Marcella Yewell in 1956. They had lived in Blue Springs since 1971 and prior to that in Independence. Mr. Ozburn was the district manager for Western Auto for over 20 years and then worked for Hallmark Cards, retiring in 1989. Bob and Marcella had been married 42 years at the time of his death. In addition to Marcella, Robert was survived by a daughter Sandra Sue Moritz: brothers Paul and Donald; a grandson, two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 20, at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton.
