SMSGT Clair Warner Beauman died at Claremont General Hospital in Claremont, NH on April 26, 1977 after a brief illness. He was born on December 29, 1922 in Claremont; the son of Clair Warner Sr and Ida May (Kaulback) Beauman.

He had been a resident of Claremont for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the U S Air Force as a Senior Master Sargeant on September 1, 1966 after twenty five years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post No 29, the DAV, and the Polish American Citizens Club.

He married Jennie Angie Kingsbury on August 29, 1942 in Newport, NH but they later divorced.

He married Gladys Marie LaTouche on December 7, 1946 in Claremont.

Survivors include his wife; three sons Michael Beauman of Nottingham, NH, Jeffrey Beauman of Baltimore, MD, and Terry Beauman of Booth Bay, ME; two daughters Nancy Lambert and Susan Theroux both of Claremont; nine grandchildren; and two sisters Berna Cragin and Rena Herricks both of Claremont.

Burial is in Union cemetery.
