She had lived in Adams Shore since 1909 and moved to the Braintree nursing home a year ago. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church Women's Guild and was head of the Altar Guild at the church for about forty years.
She married William F Torrey on November 8, 1883 in Boston, MA.
She was preceded in death by fours daughters Josephine, Elizabeth, Miriam, and Amy and one son.
Surviving are her husband and son William F Torrey Jr of North Weymouth, MA; six grandchildren Ruth Bothington and Ellen Warren both of Randolph, VT, Ann Stiveleitta of Dedham, MA, Clarence Armstrong Jr of Wollaston, MA, George H Torrey, Evelyn Torrey, and David W Duston all of Weymouth, MA; and four great grandchildren.
Burial is in Union cemetery.
