Obit: Earnest W. Blake, 76, of Decatur, died MaY 18, 1996. He is survived by one stepson James Mitchell; one brother Jack Blake; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Blake, a native of Gwinnett County, was a self employed brick mason and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II where he was awarded The American Service Medal, two Bronze Stars, and a World War II Victory Medal. Graveside services were held Monday, May 20, at Peachtree Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
