Beulah L. Kyle, 74, of St. Joseph, MO., passed away Monday March 15, 2010 at a local hospital.
Beulah was born August 3, 1935 to Samuel and Hazel Lewis in St. Joseph where she lived all her life. She worked for the Robidoux Hotel until its closing and later Sutherland Lumber Company.
In April 1954, Beulah and David Kyle were married in St. Joseph. He preceded her in death. Her parents, a daughter, Hazel Kyle; brother, Lawrence Lewis; and three sisters, Dorothy Richards, Violet Wesbrook, and Jenny Vestal also precede her in death.
Surviving are five sons, David, Samuel, Jesse, Abraham, and George Kyle Sr; three daughters, Betty Hautzenrader, Susan Thomas, and Catherine Kyle; one sister, Betty Griffith; twenty-five grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and Misty Kyle, who was her caregiver the past seven years.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Clark-Sampson Funeral Home with interment in Ashland Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 noon Thursday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
