Mrs. Grace Estes Barley

Mrs. Grace Estes Barley, 73, died at the Bryan Whitfield Memorial Hospital, Demopolis, Thursday, August 5, 1976.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barley were held Saturday, August 7 at 10 a.m. from the Linden Baptist church with the pastor, the Rev. Bill Middlebrooks,and the Rev. Doyle Brown, Wetumpka, a former pastor of the Providence Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was made in the Linden Memorial Gardens with Cook and Spigener Mortuary, Demopolis, directing.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Frank Hurt, Gerald Hurt, David Huggins, Kenneth Barley,Jr., Alan Duke, George Norris, Steve Edmonds, and James Lancaster.

Mrs. Barley, a native of Oklahoma, was a citizen of Linden for approximately 50 years.
She was the widow of the late Val T. Barley. She was a member of the Linden Baptist Church and for the period she lived at Gallion Route, she was a member of the Providence Baptist Church.

Mrs Barley is survived by one son, Kenneth Taylor Barley, Gallion Route, and two daughters, Mrs. Bettie Louise Huggins and Geraldine Barley Hurt, also of Gallion Route; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Fred Bulawsky, Miami, Oklahoma.
