Shirley is survived by her children: Lynn (Steven) Schleitwiler of Greenville, Gary (Sandi) Rohde of Darboy, and Cheryl (Brad) Schmitzer of the Town of Menasha; grandchildren: Sara (Brian) Schewe, and Katie (fiance, Tom), Kristy and Paul Schleitwiler; and Kristoffer and Cameron Rohde; great-grandchild, Alexis Schleitwiler; brothers: Robert (Maurene) and Donald (Ruth); and sister, Janice.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2008, at Appleton Highland Memorial Park, Star of Hope Chapel, 3131 North Richmond Ave., Appleton, with Rev. James Wiebel officiating. Friends will be received at the chapel on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
A memorial fund in Shirley's name is being established. Proceeds will go toward organizations that support cancer patients.
