Lavinia Lewis married William Henry Laurence (I've seen it spelled with a "u" and with a "w" although her stone reads "u".) on 26 Sep 1850 in Cana Twp, Jennings County, Indiana. To this union were born 8 children: Mary Ellen Laurence 1851-1852, Sara Emaline Laurence 1852-1895 - Sara married John Peter Lewis who is the son of Daniel Rowland Lewis, George Franklin Laurence 1854-1880, Hiram Laurence 1856- , Daniel Francis Laurence 1857-1915, Martha Alice Laurence 1859-1913, Daughter Laurence 1862- and Luwattie Laurence 1866-1932.

Lavinia is the sister to my gg grandfather, Francis Marion Lewis.
