Barbara Jeanette Lillard, 79, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Waco Memorial Park with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 1, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.
Barbara was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Earl Eugene and Odessa Theosa (Mahoney) Ballard. She married Pat Doyle Lillard on Feb. 6, 1951, in Waco. She was a former member of Elm Mott Church of Christ and Lake Shore Church of Christ.
Barbara is preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Ballard and Bobby Ballard; and son-in-law, Milton Parrish.
Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Pat Doyle Lillard; daughters, Janet Lillard, of Waco, Sandra Dodson and husband, Allen, of Sugar Land, and Barbara Parrish, of Waco; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
