OBITUARY Iron County Reporter June 22 2005 “Obituaries: Dominic Bobjack”
IRON RIVER-Dominic P. Bobjack, 88, died June 18 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.
He was born July 7, 1916 in Caspian, the son of the late Charles and Theresa (Chuda) Bobnock [note different last name]. He moved to Alpha as a child with his parents and attended the Alpha-Mastodon School. He first worked as a farmer and then moved to Chicago. He entered the U.S. Army where he served as a quartermaster during World War II. Following his honorable discharge he returned to Chicago and was employed in factory and construction work. He retired in 1978 and moved to Iron River in 1992. He was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Joe, Mike, Charles and Frank; and two sisters, Theresa and Adeline.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
Burial was in Bowling Brook, Ill. [Elmhurst].
Langenberg Funeral Home-Iron River Chapel is serving the family.
