Pearl Beatty, 103, Chesterfield, formerly of Kokomo, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield. She was born Oct. 3, 1904, in Sharpsville, the daughter of Charles William and Ella Jane (Karr) Beatty.

She retired from Delco Electronics in 1969, after 30 years of service. She attended Valley Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Chesterfield, and she formerly attended Northview Christian Church in Kokomo. She was a member of the UAW Local 292, Euchre Club and the Lioness Club.

Surviving are a nephew, Donald and Pauline Beatty, Chesterfield; three nieces, Joyce and Bill Brown, Pendleton, Sandy Rhemen, California, and Lynette Robertson, Walton; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Cecil and Arthur Beatty.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. Pastor Joe Roysden will officiate. Burial will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday. Memorial contributions may be directed to Valley Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 2996 E. Ind. 236, Anderson, IN 46017.
