Victim of Scalding Dead
John Beatty, the seventeen year old son of Bert Beatty, died at his home in Sharpsville Friday at about the noon hour from burns received in accident more than a week ago.
The young man was employed about the Sharpsville Canning Company and while about the place in some way missed his footing and fell into one of the scalding vats and was so badly burned that it was not thought he could survive only a few hours. Following the shock there had been a slight improvement in his condition but it proved to be only temporary and death came as a release.
