Sudden Death Of S.B. Beatty
Long Time Resident of the Sharpsville Community Died at Kokomo
Had A Heart Attack
Word was received in Tipton Wednesday night of the sudden death of Kokomo of Santford B. Beatty, 69 years of age, death being due to a heart attack. He survived but a few minutes after the attack with occurred about 8 p.m. No funeral arrangements have been completed at this time.
Santford B. Beatty, resided in the Sharpsville community practically all of his life and was one of the well known residents of Liberty township. For some time he resided in Kokomo. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Dora Beatty and five sons, George, Paul, Ancel and Noah of Kokomo; Wilford of Louisville, Kentucky; four daughters, Ethel, Zelma, Pearl and Bonnie all of Kokomo.
Mr. Beatty is also survived by a sister Mrs. Sarah Eaton of Sharpsville and two brothers Truman of Kokomo and Orville of Denver, Colorado. Two half-brothers Elwood Christian of Sharpsville and Perry Tooley of Kokomo also survive.
Santford Beatty was a man who has many friends in this county who will regret much to learn of his sudden death. For a number of years he has been actively interested in religious word and did some preaching, being a man who had a wide knowledge of the Bible.
Following the death the body was removed to the Ellers mortuary to prepare it for burial, which will likely be in the Sharpsville Cemetery.
