Known as "The One Armed Bandit"
Roger, 61, of Carson City, passed away on Wednesday, at Ingham Medical Center in Lansing. He was born to Ronald and Rosemary (Leonard) North. He married Linda Stoudt on January 27, 1968, in Riverdale. He was a member of the Mt. Hope United Brethren Church in Carson City.

Roger graduated from Carson City-Crystal Area Schools. He was a member of the American Legion Post #380. He was a salesman in many different types of business. Roger loved to fellowship with friends, whether it was hunting, fishing, riding motorcycle or drinking coffee. He loved sports and was a Detroit Lions fan.

Surviving him are his wife of 42 years, Linda; 2 sons, Scott (Lynda) of Spangle, WA, and David, of Carson City; Roger's only grandson Alec, adopted granddaughter, Dannielle and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Beverly Collins.

A memorial service was held Friday, April 9th, 2010, at the Mt. Hope United Brethren Church, Carson City, with Pastor Valerie Reynolds officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Choice.

The family was served by Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City.
