Dorothy Ann (Wilbanks) Crozier, 85, a lifetime resident of Waco, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010, at her residence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. David Shuttlesworth officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco.

Dorothy was born in Hallsburg, Texas, to the late Jess and Ella Mae (Hall) Wilbanks. She was a gifted and talented Lyric Soprano soloist. She received a scholarship from Baylor University, won numerous competitions, and had plans to go to Broadway. Dorothy then fell in love with Robert E. Crozier, and they married June 9, 1946, in McLennan County. Dorothy owned and operated Crozier's Flowers in Waco for twenty-five years and was a gifted florist and businesswoman. She was also an active member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church and Church choir for many years. She loved singing at weddings and funerals and truly ministered numerous area families of all faiths with her voice and floral design. She loved to paint. She shared her God-given gifts with so many. Dorothy was such a giving person.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Crozier; sons, Mike Crozier and Mark Crozier; sister, Virginia Goebel; and brother, Jess Wilbanks.

Survivors include daughters, Barbara Ann Crozier and Mazie Louise Crozier, both of Waco; grandson, Kim Kevin Korenek, of Robinson; and many other family members and friends.
