Armando On March 31, 2010, Armando, age 85, passed away at his home in Haddon Township. Born in Cuba, and a former resident of Metairie, LA, Mr. Abay graduated from LSU with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He worked as a refinery manager for the Domino Sugar Company in Camaguey, Cuba, Philadelphia and finally New Orleans, LA, from where he retired.
Upon retirement, he continued working as a consultant for the Sugar Industry in Louisiana and Mexico.

Armando will always be remembered lovingly by his wife, Carmen (nee Alvarez); his two sons, Armand S. (Paula) and Gery (Rosemarie); his two daughters, Ana Maria (Peter) Pryzbylkowski and Jeannette (Jeffrey) Kowal; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his brother, Dr. Antonio Abay and his sister, Oilda Plasencia.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday morning after 9:00 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Road, Haddon Township, NJ where His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 11:00 AM.

Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
