Mary P. Hamilton Magan, 49, of 5214 Kentucky 144, Owensboro, died Saturday, February 19, 1994, at her home. She was born in Daviess County, had been a certified medical technician at the Mary Kendall Home and was a member of Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church. Her father, Paul Hamilton, died in July 1978. Two brothers preceded her in death, Joe Hamilton in April 1962 and James B. Hamilton in March 1986. Survivors include her husband, Danny G. Magan; five sons, Henry M. "Bubby" Jewell, Timothy P. Jewell, Danny D. Jewell and David M. Jewell, all of Owensboro, and Glen Vanover of Lewisport; two daughters, Lisa D. Jewell, at home, and Angie Carmen of Russellville; her mother, Pauline Hamilton of Owensboro; two stepsons, Robert D. Magan and Terry G. Magan, both of Owensboro; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four brothers, John M. Hamilton, Phillip M. Hamilton and Tommy L. Hamilton, all of Owensboro, and Martin L. Hamilton of Calhoun; and four sisters, Joann Daily, Mrs. Harvey F. (Joyce) Jarvis and Judy A. Piper, all of Owensboro, and Mrs. John (Cathy) Knight of Dixon. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery in Daviess County. Visitation from 2-8 p.m. today and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Opportunity Center, 731 Jackson St., Owensboro, KY 42303 or the Hospice Association of Owensboro, P.O. Box 1403, Owensboro, KY 42302. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
