--Amanda wed Charles Griffith on November 3, 1859; they were parents of 7 children: 1. Laura Isabella, 2. Charles Abner, 3. Eli Franklin, 4. John Hunter, 5. George Jethro, 6. Samuel Aurelius, and 7. Robert Isaac Griffith. Son Eli became a Presbyterian minister.
