JOHN E. HERR
John E. Herr, eighty-two, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday of the infirmities of his age at his residence in Landisville, after an illness of several weeks. He was a son of the late Henry G. and Naomi Diller Herr and was the last of his immediate family.
He is survived by two sons, Dr. J.T. Herr, of Landisville, and Harry T. Herr, with whom he resided. Three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of his son, Harry, with burial in the Landisville Reformed Mennonite cemetery. Friends may call at the home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
