Edith was born Edith A. Vanderbur on January 29, 1901, at Alva, Oklahoma. Edith married Ray Booth in 1922. He died in 1942. She later married Roy Claussen in 1951. He died in 1963.

Edith died June 19, 1989, at Russell Regional Hospital. A homemaker, she was a resident of Russell most of her life. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Survivors: son, Bruce Booth; sisters, Mary Shaver, Cleo Wade, Olive Moyer; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
