George T. Harden, 67 of Modesto died Saturday at Arbor Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Harden was a native of Pulaski, Tenn. He lived Modest 30 Years. He had worked at Gallo 27 years. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Sons in Retirement Society Chapter#144 of Modesto, and the United States Navy Fleet Reserve. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. Harden of Modesto; Children, Linda Bell, Steve Harden and Mike Harden, all of Modesto; brothers, Louie Harden, Joe Harden, Douglas Harden and Larry Harden, all of Texas and Bill Harden, of Tennessee; sisters, Margie Russell of Tennessee and Lucille Athow of Alabama; 10 grandchildren and one great-granchild.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Colonial Chapel of Franklin and Downs.
