mother married his step-father in June of 1855. No other information available about his father or his little sister Karen who died young.
He had a farm in Sherman Township and was married twice. His first wife was Ellen Evenson and they had at least seven children. She died in Barron County,WI. She was born 15th October,1860 and she died 18th February, 1898.
His second wife was Erika Christiansen, who was born in Norway. They had at least ten children.
Some of the extended family are buried at Highland also.his son Raymond, his grandson Orville and now his Great Grandson, Scott were/are responsible for keeping the cemetery neat and tidy.

Homesteaded in Barron 1879 until 1902 then Sherman County. 3 sisters, 3 brothers-13 children-13 grandchildren. Helped built Lutheran Church at Barron and contributed largely to its support.
