Barbara Anne Woods, 67, of Amarillo died Saturday, April 3, 2010.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Barbara was born July 30, 1942, in Olton to Garland and Jimmie Nicholson. She married Bruce Allen Woods on July 17, 1970, in Olton. She and her husband were house parents at Boys Ranch for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include a daughter, Natalie Woods; a son, Nathan Woods and wife Wendy; a sister, Gayle Carlisle of Flower Mound; a brother, Buddy Nicholson of Olton; and her mother-in-law, Addie Hill of Canyon.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.

Visitation will from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
