CHARLESTON, Ark.--
Funeral services for Charles Henry Schleiff, 79, of Charleston, was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Charleston Northside Baptist Church. The Rev. Curtis Griffin officiated. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery, Fort Smith, by Smith Mortuary of Charleston.

A former Fort Smith resident and a member of Charleston Northside Baptist Church, Mr. Schleiff died Thursday at a Paris nursing home.

Survivors include the widow, Abbie; two sons, Charles W. Schleiff of Palestine, Texas, and the Rev. Gerald E. Schleiff of Fort Worth, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Z.C. Wilson of Kileen, Texas, Mrs. A.W. Hill of Broken Bow, Mrs. Olen T. Anderson of Broken Arrow, Mrs. Verlin W. Kindy of Claremore, and Mrs. Frances Steele of Fort Smith; one brother, W.A. Schleiff of Fort Smith; one sister, Miss Anna Schleiff of Fort Smith; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
