Mrs. Pugh Dies
Mrs. Charlotte Elizabeth Pugh, who spent all her life in Corvallis, Oakville and Albany, died at 10 o'clock Monday morning at her home 223 Jackson Street, Albany. She had been ill from a heart ailment. The funeral service is to be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday from the Fish funeral home in Albany, with Rev. Allan Banks officiating, and interment will be in the Pugh cemetery near Shedd. Mrs. Pugh was born in Oregon, April 2, 1866 and in 1883 married James A. Pugh who died in 1918. Her surviving sons and daughters include Mrs. W.R. Elam, Corvallis, Mrs. Floy Neville, Oakland, California; Mrs. Rhoda S. Stauff, Payette, Idaho; Mrs. Eunice Houston, Albany; James E. Pugh, Oildale, California, and F. Asbury Pugh, Caldwell, Idaho. There are 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Other survivors are four brothers, Wesley St. John, Lebanon; Lincoln of Sheed; Frank, of Corvallis, and Ira of Oakville, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Brown of Salem.

PUGH FUNERAL HELD
Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte E. Pugh, who passed away at her home Dec. 9, were held from the Fisher funeral home Dec. 11 with Rev. Alan H. Banks officiating. He was assistedby by Rev. Henry Albers. Pallbearers were Earl B. Houston, W. R. Elam, Leonard Pugh, O.B. stauff, Jame E. Pugh and Forrest A. Pugh. Mrs. Thompson, Margaret Banks and Mrs. Alan Banks were in charge of music. Mrs. E. E. Munsey and Miss Bessie Bond arranged the floral tribute. Interment was made at the family plot at Pugh cemetery at Shedd.
