Daughter of James and Estella Bunting McCracken, she was widowed, a book binder in a publishing Co., lived at 3518 Shelby St. Apt 3-4, Bethany Village, Indianapolis, IN, died there of bladder cancer and organic brain syndrome, per death certificate 90-034701, whose informant was Mrs. Lee Barnes, 1805 Oak Hill Dr., Escondido, CA, daughter. Buried Sep 5 1900 in East Maplewood Cemetery.


Per PA Marriage License, on Sep 21 1912 in Franklin, Venango Co, PA, George M. Boyer of Rocky Grove, laborer, 34, son of J. and Rachel Boyer, married Mary M. McCracken of Rocky Grove, 17, daughter of J. A. and Stella McCracken, with the consent of J. A McCracken; first marriage for both.

Mary M. McCracken Boyer, 95, formerly of 1206 E. Eighth St., died Sunday afternoon (Sept. 2, 1990) at Bethany Village in Indianapolis where she lived. She was born Aug. 28, 1895, in Crawford County, PA.


She lived in Anderson from 1945 until 1968. She then moved to California before relocating to Indianapolis nine years ago. She retired from Warner Press in 1965 after 16 years of employment. She was a former member of the Park Place Church of God and later a member of the Garfield Park Church of God in Indianapolis.


She married George M. Boyer, who died in 1969.


Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Zylva) Revelant of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Mrs. Lee (Jean) Barnes of Escondido, Calif.; three granddaughters; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.


Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert D. Loose Funeral Home with the Revs. David E. Markle and Richard Turner officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
