He is survived by his wife, Constance S. McBride of Dacula. Other relatives are sister, Esther Link of Laredo, Texas; sister, Mary Williamson of Arlington, Virginia; sister, Margarite Pierce of Bend, Oregon; sister, Eva Evans of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Gerald McBride of Realitos, Texas; brother, John McBride of Realitos, Texas; and brother, James McBride of Houston, Texas.
Maj. Gen. McBride was a native of Corpus Christi, Texas. He served in the US Air Force and retired in 1973 after 31 years service.
Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, June 11, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. from Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Buford, Georgia, with Fr. Jimmy Adams serving as celebrant.
Family and friends will assemble Wednesday, June 12, 1996, at 1:00 p.m. for committal, Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, Georgia.
