James Taylor Cunningham, age 40, a resident of Route 2, Herndon, died Sunday, Dec. 20, at Jennie Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville. He had been seriously ill for the past two years.
A native of Trigg County, Mr. Cunningham was born Dec 15, 1924, the son of James Alexander and Grace Wilson Cunningham. He was married to February 7, 1959, to Jane Davis, who survives.
He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted at Maxfield and Curling Funeral Chapel, Monday, Dec. 21, at 2 pm by the Rev. Kenneth Morris. The New Hope Choir with Barbara Jean Futrell at the piano, had charge of the music service.
Burial was in the Wilson Cemetery in Trigg County.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Grace W Cunningham; and three sisters, Mrs. Tom Fuller, Cobb; Mrs. Robert Dawson and Mrs. Leroy Dawson, both of Herndon.
Pallbearers were Tom Fuller, Henry Fuller, Robert Dawson, Homer Dawson, Cecil Calhoun, and Doug Stewart.
