Frank was the son of John Borowski and Dora Anna Lipski, and he was the brother of Frances Anna Zdrodowski, Anna Koszykowski Koski, and Katherine Kazsubowski.

Frank served in Company H of the 1st Missouri Volunteer Regiment during the Spanish-American War of 1898, and he was a long-time member of the VFW. He worked for many years as a truck driver in St. Louis.

He married Dora Antonina Kwiatkowski at St. Stanislaus Kostka parish in St. Louis on April 16, 1902.

Following Dora's death, he married a local widow, Rose Fontan Siebert in St. Louis on July 18, 1929.

A widower again in 1939, Frank married Esther Haehnlein Diefenbach in St. Louis on Oct. 6, 1943.

Frank was the loving father of John Anthony, Mary Agnes, Francis, Jr., Anna Clara, Joseph M. and Frances Katherine and beloved grandfather and great-grandfather.
