COWPENS-M.C. Cash, 74, of Cowpens, Route 1, died at Mary Black Hospital at 8:15 p.m. after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Cash was a native of Cherokee County and was a member Of New Pleasant Baptist Church and had served as deacon since 1925 and as clerk of the church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Richards Cash; 5 daughters, Mrs. J.B. Blanton, both of Chesnee, Route 3, Mrs. John Quinn, Mrs. Albert McCraw and Miss Jenez Cash, all of Cowpens, Route 1; five sons, Floyd, Joe, Walter and Wayne, all of Cowpens, Route 1 and Beauford Cash of Chesnee; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
