Services for Mrs. Rachel Seymore, 77, of Wells, were conducted Saturday in the Calvary Baptist Church in Wells with Rev. Horace Fletcher and Rev. John Greene officiating and burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Seymore was born February 17, 1900 in Waverly, Tennessee and died Wednesday evening in a Nacogdoches hospital. She had resided in Wells for 50 years and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

* Daughters: Mrs. Willie Mae Moore, Mrs. Minnie Cheatom, Mrs. Beth Yates and Mrs. Lerlean Skinner
* Sons: James Seymore and Don Seymore
* Half-brothers: Louis Taylor, Gene Taylor and Avery Taylor
* 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren
