Joseph William Huseman was born to Gertrude (Gertie)Elizabeth and Willard Dale Huseman on October 26, 1930 in Piqua, Ohio. He attended and graduated high school at St. Mary's Catholic School. He was a firefighter in Piqua, Ohio. He later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. He married his high school sweetheart Jean Spradlin on November 06, 1953. They shared a wonderful life together raising their 5 children in Ohio and then moving to Melbourne, Florida in 1975. He spent the rest of his life here with his family in Florida. He worked at Documation as an Engineer, and retired from Dictaphone in the early 90's. Dad loved to fish, play pool, darts, pinochle and any game that struck his interest. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veteran of Foreign Wars(VFW) and if you couldn't find him, you'd find him there hanging out with his buddies! He idolized his wife, children and grandchildren. He passed away in the early morning of December 26, 1997. He was preceded in death by his son Christopher (stillborn), his sister Mary Ann Kerbrat and both of his parents. He is survived by his 5 children Bill Huseman, Samantha(Jim)Cook, Elaine(Richard)Amato, James Huseman, and Mary Jo(Daniel)Sunstone. At the time of his death he is also survived by his 9 grandchildren (Casey Nicole, Lindsey Rae, Tabitha Cheyenne, James Austin, Brigham Keith, Dena Mable, Sariah Yvette, Amanda Claire and Charlene Desire') and has since had 2 more grandchildren (Savannah Josephine, Chelsea Jean) and 2 great-grandchildren (Andrew, Emily Rose).He is buried at Bushnell National Cemetery.
