Horace E. Beebe, 65, who had been a member of the Willoughby village fire department for 45 years, died early today of a heart attack at his home, 2 Woodside Ave., Willoughby. Mr. Beebe was born Dec. 15, 1879, in Wickliffe, a son of the late Ezra and Maria Spanner Beebe.

For the last 16 years Mr. Beebe had been employed by the Cleveland equipment works of the General Electric Co. Previously for 20 years he worked at the former American Clay and Machine Co., Willoughby. He was a member of the Eagles lodge at Willoughby.

Surviving are his wife, Tressia; daughter, Mrs. Horace (Marion) Wilson, Mentor; brothers, George and Raymond, Willoughby; sister, Mrs. Albert (Mabel E.) Wilson, Willoughby. Two brothers and a sister are deceased - Harry and Edward, and Mrs. Estella Wicker.
