Age 80, of Ellsworth, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at her home.
Violet was born in Eau Claire, WI, on June 24, 1929, the daughter of Raymond and Amy (Rohlfs) Pehlke.
Violet spent her early life in Chippewa Falls, WI and at the age of 40 moved to Ellsworth, where she made her home and became a member of the Strom family group home. She worked for Pro-Act in Red Wing, MN for many years until retiring a few years ago.
She attended church at Cross Roads Community Church, Ellsworth.
Violet is survived by her sister, Arlene (Fred) Henning, Bloomer, WI.

Her parents and sisters, Velda Hubbard and Lois Pehlke, preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Violet will be 10:00am, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Crossroads Community Church, Ellsworth. Rev. Matthew Anderson will officiate.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
