Fred J. Eakin, 91, passed away on March 29, 2010 at the Life Care Center where he received excellent care. Born in Huntington, Indiana; he was a graduate of South Side High School Fort Wayne and later served with honor in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was employed at the local Magnavox Plant. Surviving are his three sons Phil (Carol), Tim (Hanna), and John (Vicky), three grandchildren, his former wife Mary and his friend and dance partner Phyllis Hall.
He always described himself as a "professional flirt".
At his request, his Earthly body was donated to medical science.
