William H. Moore, Sr. husband of Ann Bernyce Tryens Moore. Father of William Horace Moore Jr; Sara Ann Moore Derenge; and Emily Marie Moore Baker. He was maintenance supervisor in charge of Interstate 95 in Cecil County, Maryland. He retired in 1973 after 40 years of service. He was a US Army Combat Engineer veteran of World War II. He did his basic training at Camp Blanding, Florida. Served in the Phillipines with the 495th Engineer Heavy Shop Company. He was a Tech 5 when he was discharged from the service.
