Mrs. Anna P. (Prien) Stitz, 81, of 921 South Eleventh, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in her home, after an extended illness.
Born at San Pierre, she married Louis D. Stitz in 1904. He died in 1950. A resident of Lafayette for many years, she was a member of St. James Lutheran church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Gertrude Stitz of Lafayette, and Mrs. William L. Hull of Champaign, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Baumgardt of Lafayette, and Mrs. Herman Kruger of San Pierre.
STITZ, Mrs. Anna P. -- Friends may call after noon Sunday at the family residence, 912 South Eleventh, until 11 a.m. Monday. Services Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Soller-Baker chapel, Rev. Rudolph Rehmer officiating; burial in Spring Vale cemetery. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Mrs. Henry Kirkpatrick of Los Angeles, Calif., David Hull and Marian Hull, both of Champaign, Ill.
