James W. Mealey (USAF, Ret.) -WARNER ROBINS - James W. Mealey, 59, entered into rest on September 5, 2008. -Mr. Mealey was born on January 8, 1949, in San Bernardino, California. With pride and honor, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a computer engineer, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, the Barbershop Harmony Society, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His daughter, Emily M. Mealey, preceded him in death. -His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of forty-one years, Deborah DuBose Mealey; parents, James Lee and Martha M. Weiss Mealey, Houston, Texas; children, Leslie A. Pyper (Aaron), Michelle L. Siebers (Skip), Laura E. Shaffstall (Robert), James K. Mealey (Tanya), Thomas O. Mealey (Katie), Jennifer R. Boland (Ryan) and Erin L. Howe (Rob); brothers, John H. Mealey, Moab, Utah, and Matthew R. Mealey, Spring, Texas; and twenty-three grandchildren. -Visitation will be Sunday, September 7, 2008, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10A.M. on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Warner Robins; Bishop Randie Harris officiating. Private interment will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery.
