Scott E. Christian, 49, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Lakeside. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Scott was born Oct. 16, 1960, in Fort Worth. He was a lieutenant at the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office over community relations and the DARE program. He worked with the sheriff's office for 23 years. He loved to cycle, to ride his dune-buggy, play jokes on people and make people laugh. Scott loved working and teaching all his kids in the DARE program. Scott loved his family and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors: Wife, Shannon Christian; daughter, Jessicca Christian; son, Jarred Christian; parents, Paul and Nadine Christian; sister, Sandra Corley and husband, Don; brothers, David Christian, Greg Christian and wife, Jaclyn, and Stanley Christian and wife, Samantha; mother-in-law, Sandra Sharp; brother-in-law, Shawn Sharp; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
