Bob married Margaret Peluso in July , 1944 at the All Souls Catholic Church in Abingdon,IL. They had 5 children, 1 son, Angelo, died a few days after he was born and is buried in the cemetery in St.Augustine,IL.
He served with the USArmy during WWII.After mustering out of the military in 1945, he worked for the CB&Q RR (now called the BNSF RR) until 1977 when he retired.He was a faithful husband, a good father and a fine man.
