Rocky Point -- Lillie Mae Corbett Sidbury, age 83, died Tuesday, October 3, 2000, at Huntington Health Care.
Mrs. Sidbury was born April 28, 1917, in Atkinson and was the daughter of the late Willie Daniel and Iva Ruth Daniel Corbett. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. DeBose in 1955 and later married Thomas Franklin Sidbury, who died in 1990.
She was a member of Pike Rocky Point Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her sons, Robert G. DeBose and wife, Jolene, of Wichita, KS and James D. DeBose and wife, Nell, of Castle Hayne; daughters, Daphne D. Rackley of Kenansville, Louise D. Woodcock and husband, Jay, of Atkinson, and Carolyn D. Rhodes of Burgaw; step-son, Alfred S. Sidbury and wife, Judy, of Hampstead, twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris S. Johnson of Wilmington, Eunice Matthews of Burgaw, Lois Horrell of Burgaw, and Katie Kelly of Currie; and brothers, Willis Corbett, Colon Corbett, and Johnnie Corbett all of Wilmington.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Pike Rocky Point Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Matt Highfill and Rev. June Highfill officiating.
Burial will follow in Pike Creek Cemetery.
