Daniel Paul Beaver, 71, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born Jan. 6, 1933, in Forsyth County to Curtis Paul and Lettie Nelson Beaver. Preceding Mr. Beaver in death were his parents; his sister, Bonnie Gray; and his brother, Charles Beaver. He graduated from Mineral Springs High School. Mr. Beaver was past governor of the Winston-Salem Moose Lodge 466 and was a Moose Legionnaire. Mr. Beaver was a life member of the VFW Post 6367 and served on the District 11 Memorial Honor Guard. He was of the Protestant faith. Surviving are his wife, Patsy Beaver of the home; a daughter, Becky Rizzi and husband, Patrick, of Huntersville; two sons, Daniel Todd Beaver and wife, Wendy, and Blake Beaver, all of Winston-Salem; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Susan Stultz and husband, Roger, Kristy Spear, Tammy Childress and husband, Mickey, all of Winston-Salem, and Vicky Stamey and husband, Mitch, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a brother, Eugene Beaver of Albuquerque, N.M.; and his twin sister, Daphine Sams and husband, David, of Winston-Salem. A graveside service was conducted Westlawn Memorial Gardens. Military rites were performed by District 11 Memorial Honor Guard, as well as rites by the Moose Lodge.
