Gladys was born in Cumberland County to Bradley and Ina (Teal) Easter. She married Robert (Bob) Earl Fox in Indiana and had three sons, Rick, Randy and Tim. Bob died at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga TN on 04/08/2012. His 2nd wife, Diane Cheek, had him cremated.
