Alberta was united in marriage on December 7, 1950 in Princeton, IL, to Mr. Joseph I. Miller and they spent the next 50 happy years of their lives together.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the United Methodist Church of Plano, IL. Alberta was at one time employed by Kieda Manufacturing and also by Plano Molding, both in Plano, IL. She was a homemaker who loved crafts, nature, gradening and traveling with her husband, Joseph.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph of Plano; one son, Daniel J. (Mary Jo) Miller of Plano; two granddaughters, Amy (Leo) Alvarado of Plano and Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Miller of Plano; one great grandson, Anthony Alvarado of Plano; one brother, George (Margaret Ellen) Weidell of Princeton, IL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lillie Twidell.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2000 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 W. South Street, Plano, IL with Reverend Judy Giese officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Rock Township Cemetery, Plano, IL.
Friends may call from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2000 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 W. South St. Plano, IL.
Alberta's family has requested that memorials may be made in her name, to the United Methodist Church of Plano, Clark and Hale Streets, Plano, IL 60545.
