Devon was a shining soul - a white knight. He cared about everyone else's feelings and empathized with other people's pain. I never once saw him without him throwing his arms around my neck and telling me how much he loved me. Smart and intelligent, he wanted to know about everything, and peppered us all with questions..."If Adam and Eve wore leaves, wouldn't that be itchy?" or "If I came out of mommy's tummy and Ian came out of mommy's tummy, where was Ian while I was in there?" or "Why does one drop of water roll down the window this way but the next one goes that way?" He had relentless energy, and it was hard to keep him in a chair for more that 5 minutes, even at the dinner table. He also liked order, and would arrange the animals on his bed by size and species. It irked him that people would call an ape a monkey and vice versa. -- Jan Williams, Devon's Oma
