Jack Edward Pollock, 87, of Fort Wayne, a tool and die maker for General Electric for 46 years, died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at home.
The Fort Wayne native was the former owner of the A&W Root Beer Stand in Auburn.
Surviving are his son, Don E. of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Myra L. Sorlie of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; and sisters Sylvia Romine and Goldie Weaver.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Memorials are to Heartland Hospice.
