Services for William O Abbott, 65, of 906 13th St. will be Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial will be in St Patrick, Mo. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Mr Abbott died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at his home. He retired in 1996 as an assembler after 33 years at John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline. He was born Oct 28, 1932, in Quincy. He married Lucille "Ceil" Logsdon in 1964 in Galesburg. Memorials may be made to Martin Luther King Center, Rock Island. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jonathan, St Louis; a sister, Beulah Schott, Milan; and brothers, Ed, Andover, Jim, Davenport, Robert, of Texas and Leo of Missouri.
