Arminta P. was a Presbyterian, but baptized Catholic on 8 Feb 1879 when their marriage was solemnized in the Catholic Church. At this time it appears that the "Catholic" name of Mary was also assumed. After her husband's death she reestablished her affiliation with the Presbyterian Church, but did not attend regularly.
